Reading week
It is reading week and thus a good time to write on my blog.
To start off this year I had a WONDERFUL practicum at Cochrane Christian Academy with the talented grade 1/2 teacher Mrs. Beauparlant. I learned an immense amount and have gained so much more understanding and passion for 21c learning. Assessment and differentiating learning are I feel the areas I grew most in. A class with two grades really teaches a teacher what inclusive learning looks like and how important differentiation in instruction really is. I was sad to go but know we will stay in touch and I am now enjoying my classes back at Ambrose University.
I have the feeling these last 1.25 years will fly by and I will be in front of a classroom full of learners in no time! :)

Ralph McCall, Langdon and Beddington Heights
I am loving my practicums. Ralph McCall school and Langdon school within the Rocky View School District were extremely welcoming and I learned a lot.
For the coming three weeks I am off to Beddington Heights school and I am excited to see a school within the Calgary Board of Education.
